TBR Pile of Doom

So, in the hustle and bustle that is life, it's easy to get behind on things. Even when you're not busy it's easy to get behind! (I'm lookin' at you fellow procrastinators). Ya get lost in the job and the friends and the oh-my-gosh Netflix just put up all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls I'm going to watch them all tonight and oh-my-GOSH they just put up Friends too.

*internal combustion*

Unfortunately, one of the huge things that gets thrown by the wayside, in lieu of watching the new episode of Better Call Saul or Empire (great shows btw), is reading. And even I, crazy reader/book obsessed girl, haven't read a book in... Well let's just say a long time.

But see, the thing is, I think reading is important. Really important. And how can I tell people to read when I'm not doing it myself?

So, here we are Internet and here's what I'm gonna do. I am going to read, I am going to read a lot. And I'm going to hope that maybe, sometime during my crusade, you will join me and we can all skip through meadows and have reading journeys together. (Skipping preferred but not required, you can skulk if that's more your style). And maybe we can do all those other things we've been meaning to do too. Like write and draw and compose music. Whatever floats your boat! But we can all start here... with a book.

Or in my case, the TBR pile of Doom.
What you see here are all the books I have bought but never started/finished. (Technically the TBR pile of doom is about 7 books taller counting the library books I have checked out and the 5 books I just bought off BookOutlet.com*)

*Aka heaven on earth

As you can see, I am woefully behind the times. *cough* Fault In Our Stars *cough*. But I'm determined to catch up! Hold me accountable Internet! Let me know what you're reading/catching up on.

In the meantime, I'll be locking myself in a room with only a lamp and these books to keep me company. Wish me luck
